My family lived at Brookview for a year. I won't get into all the details of poor service here at Brookview, but the staff, the maintenance, the quality are very poor. We requested service multiple times, and either someone came late (meaning we had to wait around, take time off work) or no one arrived and we had to reschedule (again on our time) AND neither problem was ever fixed. We just gave up. We also had problems with damage to the apartment when they were doing repair (and without asking used a chair of ours to get up to the ceiling, which ruined the chair) and the apartment told us that we should ask for repayment through our insurance when it was THEIR mess and fault. It was only after we pointed out that it was their own damages and that they should be cleaning up, etc., and not us, did they back down. That is the kind of service you get at Brookview. They will always try to get out of anything, if they can. The tenants matter the least to this apartment management group. If you want to live in an overpriced, greed driven, apartment run place, who say they care about your quality of life but all actions indicate otherwise, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your time and money and go somewhere else. Do not be fooled by the remodeling, the nice grass, the ample parking spaces, etc. It is not worth it to live at such a place (and I didn't even mention the problem with fleas, dog poop everywhere, etc.)

I moved out at the beginning of this year because once the new mgmt team of SJB came in and took over, the quality of living has become horrendous. Service orders ause the ren't worked on for weeks. I reported a problem, and they still couldn't fix it 9 months later. I lived at Brookview for years. I never had a problem the first few years because the staff was different. But ever since SJB came in the garbage overflows, maintenance is a problem, and the is dog mess EVERYWHERE. They do nothing to prevent this, even when it has reported, but if you happen to break a rule, they are all over you. It is UNSANITARY and UNSAFE. The funniest thing is, is that they used to promote Brookview because of their beautiful grounds, and its THEM who drove it into the ground.
