I, very unfortunately, had to live at Lynnewood Gardens for 2 years. I wish I could block the experience from my mind, but apparently it's etched in my memory for good. They will make any excuse possible to scam you out of as much money as possible, there is basically no help as far as maintenance of the apartments, and it's dirty with a serious rodent problem. Some examples of my time there:

1. House centipedes, roaches and mice scampering all over.
2. Constantly clogged pipes. The drain in the kitchen actually started spewing putrid black muck all over my dishes and countertops.
3. The bathtub was never quite clean...maybe because they painted over the whole thing with wall paint!
4. Some of the windows didn't even lock! I learned this the hard way when someone broke into my apartment. When Lynnewood found out about it all they had to say to me was, "You don know this isn't our fault don't you'" Thanks for your compassion!
5. Neighbors were always loud and left broken glass all over the sidewalk that I had to clean up.
6. Even after physically dropping my rent checks off in the office they would misplace them and then claim that I never paid them.
7. I felt very unsafe walking back to my apartment since some of the lights were out and never replaced. Just talk to the Cheltenham Police Department to find out how "safe" Lynnewood is. I guaruntee their story is 180 degrees different from the nonsense Lynnewood will try to tell you.
8. You have to notify them 2 months before you plan to move out even if you sign a specific lease for 1 year.
9. And now, after I have been away from Lynnewood for 2 years, I recieve a letter in the mail saying I owe them $374.38. They didn't even explain what the charge is for. They went right to a collection agency and didn't bother to send me a letter themselves.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE PLACE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!
