I have lived at Lynnewood Gardens for about 10 months now. I should have known during the leasing process not to move in. They lost my paperwork about 5 times, I made appointments and adjusted my work schedule to arrive on time, only to wait for over an hour...and I hadn't even moved in yet! It was very infuriating, stressful, and impersonal.

I then saw my apartment on move in day...there were bugs (alive and dead) throughout the apartment, holes in walls and windows which had not been spackled, and the best I believe was the poop mark in the toilet and mildew in the shower. I called maintainance, but nothing happened. I had to clean the toilet, shower, and get the bugs out prior to even moving in...if I didn't, they would consider me in breach of my lease.

There are some positives, the street is quiet and that is nice and the neighbors are generally friendly...you'll get to know them since you can hear nearly everything they do through the walls or ceiling. Don't even bother with the laundry room, most of the machines don't work, if you can even find one to use. Also, if you are afraid of bugs, this is NOT the place for you. I have killed over 60 centipedes and I have actually lost count of how many spiders. I understand that bugs will get in, but every day I walk into my apartment and do a walk around looking for bugs...I'm usually successful (and it is not due to the condition of my apartment, I have OCD and believe me, it is clean...very clean).

I am writing this as a warning to potential renters. Moving here was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made and cannot wait until my lease is up so I am able to move out. Please beware and do not make the same mistake I did.
