In my almost 20 years of renting apartments, I have never moved into a place that looked so nice! Usually when I move into an apartment, I spend hours cleaning, but this was almost perfect. Brookwood is a great community with lots to offer, in one of the best school districts around, close to just about anything you could ask for. The grounds are nice, and there's even a day care and nautilus on site! I wouldn't even consider renting anywhere else in Erie.

I would have to agree. I lived in Brookwood, be it a few years ago, and I loved it. Unfortunately, there is always good and bad with all landlord tenant relationships. We tend to live in a give me but I won't give back society. To those who have had bad experiences, I am sure you will NEVER admit to your part in any problems. Snow plowing is tough when everyone parks all over. Sure Bruce makes a better used car salesman than a rental agent, but any fool can see as soon as they meet him he is a blow hard and doesn't know an apple from a turnip. When you called to complain did you get enough information to get the problem taken care of? Or did some of you just say...hey there is a party and it's noisy? When you moved in did YOU fill out the move-in sheet and precisely mark all faults you found? Did you leave the apartment in GOOD condition or did they have to do major painting after a year and replace all the carpeting? Come on people!!!! Get your heads on straight. I liked this review. NO, I am not family. I am a former employee of Palermos and resident of Brookwood. I know Bruce is a dip but he seems to have everyone fooled. He is useless so go directly through the office and bypass him when at all possible. Otherwise he will promise you a diamond and then hand you a cold turd. He and his practices are a HUGE reason I am not with the company, but don't hold the company responsible for his stupidity. Shelly C. Davenport
