I'm really astonished to see so much negative feedback about Chaddwell! I've lived here for 11 months and had to vacate due to job change (had to move out of state). We'd certainly have renewed our lease here if my husband didn't have to move onto a new project. By far, this is the best apartment I've lived in during my 8 years of life in the US. I've never had any issues with the management or maintenance and am in fact amazed at the prompt service that both the management and maintenance staff have provided through out our stay here. Even though it's relatively expensive when compared to other apartments around this area, I felt that it was worth it what with the proximity to the small strip mall which is just a short (brisk) walk away and also to the Exton Square Mall. Yet the apartment complex itself is very quiet and peaceful all the time. Maintenance is very prompt about fixing things -- they'd almost always attend to the issue within a 24-hr period which is pretty impressive. Initially we felt that the management had laid out too many rules for the residents (such as nothing to be put out in the patios, no laundry, vacuum or any other noisy appliances between 10.30 pm and 8 am on any day, etc.), it didn't take me too long to realize that it was actually a very good idea on the management's part because it kept the noise levels really down. Also this place is very safe....I have walked down to the strip mall closeby even in dark (around 6.30 pm on winter evenings). When I was told by the management that people have been writing bad reviews about Chaddwell, I had decided right then that I'd write a good review soon after I get a bit settled at my new place....and that's just because I truly believe that Chaddwell is a great place to live and that it doesn't deserve any bad reviews! And lastly to those who might be wondering if I'm or was one of the staff at Chaddwell, NO I'm just a former resident who sincerely wants to share her opinion about this community!!
