We are all so sorry to see they let the 2 nice ladies in the office go. We could count on them to be real, smile and always be friendly for a chat. It is not their fault that this place is not the best place to live, it is the upper management fault. Not the best company, these ladies told us they had to say stupid things. We hear every apartment is very different. Ours was ok, but we have seen some messes.

I've been at Chaddwell 1.5 years now and I was also somewhat dismayed when I went to drop off my rent check earlier this month only to find both the fantastic ladies who used to run the office gone and apparently replaced by one individual. This definitely concerns me as the previous two ladies showed the utmost care and attention to any problems I had and were both very friendly and helpful in general. While I may have lucked out as my apartment is generally great (fairly quiet neighbors though the pipes in my building are obv very old and noisy) it seems like, as with all apt complexes, it's up to the management to make sure rules and codes are enforced to keep the place nice and while the two previous ladies were very good about this I'm worried the new person will not be and the management in general may start lowering standards and certain rules that I love about the place (i.e. no dogs. i got nothing against dogs but their owners tend to be lazy slobs who let them poop everywhere and bark like mad). I can only hope for the best or I'll be moving at the end of my lease.

I agree with these people. It doesn't feel the same here since they let those 2 wonderful women go. I was shocked that they would do that. It's not like we aren't paying enough rent??? They sure don't hesitate to raise our rent every year. I know that everybody is trying to make cutbacks but this is crazy. I have no idea who the new person is but I miss the ones that were here. They did a great job and were very helpful. They made it feel like home and now they are gone and something is missing...

I also agree. The ladies were an asset. There must be more going on that we as tenants are unaware of, or at least I hope. If not - shame on Hankin. In regards to WHOOKA's concern, the new manager seems to be very pleasant, but very stern, and to the book. This could be a good thing in keeping up the standards we're used to. I haven't had to many problems with noisy pipes, but agree that the traffic on Waterloo can be noisy at times. I suppose it all depends on where in the complex you are located. Doesn't the owner see that with some cosmetic updates that this could be a great place to be proud of? Windows, appliances, kitchens, and landscaping updates/changes would boost the general opinion of Chaddwell. One can only dream, I suppose.

hankin is the problem. The ladies were always good for a cheery chat,
