We heard a lot of complaints of others and the competition spreads this around, but people talk. We hear it in the community. We are just not into this place. Most of the posts are accurate and lucky are those who have a good place, most people do not.It is getting embarrassing to admit we live here.

To the anonymous poster about mentioning not driving around the complex - Sad to say, but these statements are true. I used to walk the complex for excercise, and quickly learned that there are "nice" areas, and those that aren't so nice. The front corner (by the pool) is the oldest, and kind of worn looking, while the back opposite corner looks fresh, and kept. I'm not a big complainer, so won't go into details, but some pleasant evening take a walk around and you'll notice. My general area does have the mentioned kids running around, assumed UTI kids with the loud mufflers, etc. I chalk it up to a part of apartment living, but still kinda sad.

I live at Chaddwell and while I don't constantly drive around the complex in circles I'm amazed to hear at supposedly how different sections vary in quality as people claim here as the place is not that big to begin with and the few times I have to drive down to the office or trash compactor I really don't see any indications that some areas are ghettos and some aren't. I guess I'm just glad in the year and a half I've been there I've had absolutely no problems and every other apt complex i've visited in the area as well as those in neighboring boroughs are obviously alot worse (i.e. you can visually see this) as many have no assigned parking, have dogs running about and dog poop all over the place, kids running around the parking lots, etc, etc. I've never seen any of this sort of stuff at Chaddwell but perhaps I'm not looking that hard? Either that or the people writing the negative reviews are picky or something. You're review indicates you've lived there for three years now. If it's so bad why don't you move?

I have lived here for several years and do not have a complaint. It's beautiful, well maintained and quiet. The accessibility to shopping within a 5 miles radius is a bonus. I never had a problem with previous management, nor do I anticipate a problem with the new management. I believe the negative perspective of people is an indication of their negative view of life in general. Therefore, we have chronic complainers without ever being able to please them.

I've lived at Chaddwell since 2001, and I love it here. I've never had one problem from neighbors,some of which have been here as long as I have; the grounds are beautifully kept; the maintenance people are quick to respond to requests, and my two cats are happy as well. I live in a one-bedroom 2nd floor with a balcony, and it's the nicest apartment I've every occupied. I recommend it.
