Not worth the cost of living here - not nice or friendly at all. I have never been impressed with any of the employees or service. Every neighbor I meet has a lot of broken appliances, but is hard for people to move in this economy. Interesting to read my neighbors reviews, because there has been a lot of move outs in the past couple of years. No parks or playgrounds for kids. But the school bus comes thru.
Service requests have to go to the office instead of just emailing like other modern places, which is a drag to deal with the office. The grounds look 0k but the birds are up at 4AM...........Trafic around here is dangerous on weekends and rush hours because of the the stores, people use this road as a shortcut. It is not as quiet as you would expect with concrete walls. Must be cardboard concrete. One good thing is no dogs, which are better suited in large yards. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Yes, no dogs is good policy. If only they had a no kids rule also the place would be paradise. West Whiteland Township park is right across the street (literally) which makes more sense to take your kids too as that way maintenance and costs for this sort of thing aren't transferred down to renters like me who are smart enough not to have children when you can only afford to live in an apartment complex and Chaddwell is not liable for injury when you leave your child unattended for hours to get a break from it all. Yes, traffic is pretty thick most of the time but that's because of all the store less then 1 mile from this complex. What would one expect? Also, that's the price one pays for convenience. While I'm not a fan of congested areas I am a fan of only having to drive .5 mile in the congested area to get where I'm going (as opposed to coming from Coatesville and such as alot of people do) and then .5 mile back to my apt. As for the 4AM birds I hate them as well (I have to wake up one hour after that so they typically invade my last hour of sleep) but they're birds and follow migratory patterns and such so they're not like that all year round and what do you want Chaddwell to do about that? Kill them all? I've talked to people who live in various places over the past few weeks and many have complained about the early birds (no pun intended) this time of the year. It's nature's way. Those bird are about the only thing I can hear through the concrete walls in my place but as I read these reviews I'm starting to think that the single bedroom apt blocks are alot quieter then the larger ones as they aren't full of children making alot of noise. When I first moved in my downstairs neighbor had his two young sons with him on the weekends and I could hear them throwing stuff around early Saturday morning. Once they moved out it's been like a tomb in there with my last two sets of neighbors (no kids, no noise through the concrete).
