I can only say, "Amen to that!"...I lived there close to 9 yrs and things are definitely not the way they used to be...definitely not up to the reputation the Hankin name used to have!

I have to agree. I've been here since 2001; I'm looking around now. I even have to fight one of my neighbors because he won't stop parking in my assigned space. He has 3 vehicles! Not so nice any more.

Well, I'd argue little does NOT change after 9 years these days. All I can say is I read alot of these reviews and wonder if there's cul-de-sac areas or corners of the complex that one doesn't see unless they drive around thoroughly as the area I live in has none of the problems anyone mentions here (and it's not that huge a complex). I never have parking space problems and there's always plenty of guest spots in my section for people visiting or holing up in someone else's apt. The landscaping around the apt's in my section is fine and there's never any garbage laying about or anything. They may not mow the lawns as frequently as they used to but they are maintained and I could see that as a bit of cost/expense cutting, limiting the recurrence of the landscaping contractors, as just about every single organization/business/etc has had to make cuts over the past year, why would anyone be surprised if Hankin/Chaddwell has (i.e. cutting the office staff down to 1 person). My rent increase last renewal was only $25 and they also gave me back one part of my security deposit for paying my rent on time the whole first year, which I didn't ask for back. My apt has also been quiet as a tomb since i moved in almost two years ago.
