this place is the pitts so avoid it. We are going to join many of our friends andmove out as soon as possible. My wife overheard new neighbors crying that they had to put up with it for a year.......They have the worst trash system, you have to put in a code and open a dirty handle, if you can reach it because many just trow the trash in the area. That tells you how stupid the mangers are. why lock trash> why not just make it easy to reach. then they put a sign up.........avoid it.

Hrmmm. Only complaint I see here is in regards to the door on a trash compactor not being within your reach. You are of course referring to a brand new trash compactor that Chaddwell recently replaced an older one with (some apt complexes would not have bothered). Also, if you do actually live at Chaddwell, you would have gotten the notice about the new compactor, the fact it has a numeric code required to open the door and that this feature is a STATE REQUIREMENT on all new trash compactors now (most likely because single parents who left their kids play unattended at various apt complexes ended up with one or two compacted kiddies). It's got nothing to do with what Chaddwell management decided, it's required by law (again, it was in the letter they passed out well in advance). They also pointed out that the lock may also stop alot of the trash dumping that was going on by people in the area who actually did not live at Chaddwell but probably in another complex that doesn't have a trash compactor (there's plenty around). If you've ever lived at one of those then you'd really know what type of mess is worth complaining about. And just as many plain lazy people leave their garbage outside the compactor as do old, infirm or short people who can't reach the handle. Find some legitimate complaints.

Yeah, now they just come here and dump their garbage. We get to climb over it with flies swarming us!! This was obviously posted by the office (the rudest office team in all of apartmentdome!).
