Good and Bad Points

This apartment complex has both good and bad points. First the good:
1. Very nice apartments, buildings, and fitness center
2. It is kept very clean and well manicured
3. The on-site staff is top notch. The maintenance guys are very nice and helpful.
The bad:
1. The owning company is very CHEAP. For example, they didn't even put blinds in the aparments! You have to either do it yourself or hope the previous tenants left theirs (which is what I did)
2. The garages are manual. Again, CHEAP!
3. Their rules are absurd. Once you've lived there a year, you have to sign up for another year, you can't go month-to-month. If you must vacate early, you can't even find somebody to take your place. You have to vacate, pay all the fees, and then that person can move in, so they make about 4 months rent in that one month. I'd actually have to question the legality of this policy.
4. No telephone ports in the 2nd bedroom. CHEAP!
5. In certain areas, there is not enough parking. I had to get a garage just so I'd have a place to park!
This complex basically knows that it's the newest in the Exton area so they believe they can get away with a lot.
