Exton Crossing

We moved to this community only 6 months ago and we were supposed to stay for a year, but living below another apartment (with a thin wood floor) with 2 children is a nightmare, so we decided to move out earlier. We hear every noise the neighboors above us make, like slamming the doors and using the vacuum cleaner late at night. The noise that comes from the faucets and shower is something unbelievable. Our 20-month old son always gets scared when they turn them on. We got very disappointed in this community. I would not recommend it to anybody.

I have to agree with you in that the place is noisy because of very poor insulation. Luckily I am on the top floor but overall, one has to be MUCH more careful with noisemaking so not to piss the downstairs neighbor off. It is unfortunate that this often results in neighbor fights when really it's the construction that's at fault. In general though, people are considerate and take the construction flaws into account, and things are good. Also my kids are not allowed to jump on the floor or throw balls around etc, which is only considerate and cuts down on the noise a lot. |
