Good, quiet place

My wife and I were very pleased with how quiet this apartment complex was (we lived on the top floor on a corner apartment overlooking the garden). I have had to move around quite a bit for work over the past 10 years and have lived in about 10 different apartment complexes between here and Virginia. I will say that this is the quietest one I have ever lived in (even though it is right across the street from shopping and food, you would have no idea!) and is full of very friendly people. We couldn't have made a better choice.
The only thing I would watch out for though is that they try to squeeze some money out of your deposit by claiming things that you had already noted were problems in the lease. They told me that they had not looked at the lease before they gave me back my deposit minus the penalty. My advice: hold onto your lease, mark down any problem you see, and then check it against the check out invoice.
Also, unless someone left behind blinds and shelves in the pantry, you will have to supply those yourself. I had never seen that before, but the comfortable experience we had was well worth it.
