Great place and location, but not worth it

I can't deny that this is a quaint little community: rather quiet with a very strong suburban feel. It has a Salon and a Goddard school nestled among the houses, which are rather convenient, as well as a nice public pool and gym. Not to mention it is right in the middle of Exton, spitting distance from both Exton Square Mall and Main Street at Exton. Whenever we needed something fixed, I've found the maintenance workers very courteous and quick to come out, getting whatever needs to be fixed, fixed. You are allowed cats and dogs, but dogs require a deposit and monthly fee to keep, and they have recently started allowing the larger breeds (over 25 pounds), but only one dog - I'm sorry, I don't know the policy on cats.
The problems with this place all deal with the management. If you have any problems with your neighbors, the staff at the main office will have nothing to do with it (my dog was attacked by another dog, who had bitten multiple other dogs in the development, but they did nothing about it). Ever since Madison has taken over, rent has increased in leaps and bounds and they keep finding more ways to nickel and dime us. There seems to be a constant construction going on somewhere, and their last major endeavor left large holes and gashes over a good deal of the lawns throughout the development.
It was a fantastic place when I moved in with my family, but it has steadily gone downhill, and doesn't seem to be stopping. My recommendation is to find somewhere else. This place really isn't worth the ridiculous prices they are asking. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

I've lived there until 1 1/2 years ago, right when Madison took over.
The large dogs are a real problem because it just so happens that they draw a certain crowd. Stereotyping here, absolutely, but you go out there and look and tell me that's not true.
And yes, conflict resolution does not exist. They let people literally terrorize others and with the paper thin walls and ceilings, it's easy too.

I moved into madison at montgomery in Hatfield. The management is bad, the apartmnt not ready for occupancy. First day here the shower and toilet stopped. Took 2 plumbers over 6 hours. Then the faucet came out of the wall. The refrig doors were not runed, banister not cut down so door did not hit it as promised before I moved in. The halfwall on stairway wobbles, lightplate missing and light out in bath, and more.
Another person I spoke with left their home at willowwyck telling me it was when Madison took over that they left.
From the reviews here, it seems that when madison takes over, the place goes downhill.
The regional manager actually wrote me a letter saying they were waiving the January rent because of all the problems. Finally I got them to void the lease, of the time I was here, maintenance was here on 50% of the days and have yet to do the punchlist (I moved in on the 23rd of Dec and today is Jan8 - lease started on 20 but physically moved in on 23)
----- ----- told me in a phone conversation the lease would be voided on Jan 15th, as I requested, and there would be no penalties, no money owed. I requested that be inb writing in 2 separate emails with no response. The director today told me the lease would be voided when I paid them over $400 for rent for January, despite the regional managers contract with me.
I would never, ever consider anything that is a part of the madison group.
