I read here every few months, and before I moved in, but after I had signed my lease, I read QUITE A FEW negative reviews, and of course thought they must be bull, just disgruntled difficult people. Ok, then I moved in, and as soon as I did, there were problems - specifically, the extremely RUDE and DIFFICULT staff. I wrote a long review describing my experience. This was probably May 2004 or so. Um, where is that review' I also have checked back on this site periodically, just to see what others' experiences are/were, and noticed plenty of negative reviews, almost ALL had to do with the incredibly rude and difficult management, who must be the most miserable women in the world and must absolutely hate their jobs, instead of having a proper customer service attitude towards tenants. However, all of those reviews have since been deleted - and believe me, there were quite a few. What is going on here' I also see that someone else has posted that his/her posts are constantly deleted. Why is this happening' Where are the previous negative reviews' They were written within the past couple of years, so now, where are they'

That doesn't answer the question of where all the negative reviews went, does it? ALL reviews should stand, to give people an accurate picture of who likes it there and who does not. Also, posting "exactly" what went wrong might not be wise. Plus, if someone moved in a year ago, they might just still be there, don't you think?

In response to bonaire I can give you specific examples of how Lynn and Amy are very unprofessional and rude. On the day before I was to move in I had to give them the final installment of the first month's rent. The office closes at 5pm but for some reason both Lynn and Amy scheduled personal appointments for themselves for 5pm. I never gave them a specific time as to when I was to stop by and they never told me what time I needed to be there by, just sometime before closing time, which is 5pm. Then when I go there at 4:30 pm---and this was after I had to go out and get a money order because they refused to accept personal checks for reasons known only to themselves because there were no problems with any previous checks or my background check---Lynn then made up this story that I told her I would be there at 4pm. That is a total absolute 100% lie, and Lynn knows it. Even if I had said that the point is the office is open until 5pm and the two of them were planning on closing the office early without telling anybody---even their superiors--that they were going to do so. This is very dishonest, and then to lie and try to put the blame on the tenant who is just moving in is to make things even worse. They yelled and screamed and cursed---yes they used foul language---and actually said how dare I come late. I was not late for anything because we never set up a specific time, and besides the office is open until 5pm. If they were closing the office early on that particular day then they could have just told me. That would have been the professional thing to do but they are not professional at all. Lynn acts like she is on permenant PMS and Amy needs to get together with her girlfriends and ---- it out with an all-girl orgy. It might losen her up some.

I cant understand why the negative reviews would have been deleted. Very interesting. I belive that the only good reviews are the staff anyway. Theyre -------s. Sefi said it well.

I have had nothing but a good experience with marchwood apartments. No one has ever been rude to me. I have relocated from Maryland and they actually did everything possible to help me get my paperwork together and move in. The staff has been very helpful to me and I love Marchwood apartments. upon move in, they gave my gifts and different little things for my apartment. We have obviously had different experiences and I feel that both sides need to be heard, both positive and negative.

marchwoodfan06, get over yourself. Dont you even CARE about the things other people have had to put up with? That is BULL that you think that "both sides" need to be heard, because honey you ain't listening to the other side one bit!
