Hi my name is Jill you may e-mail me with what has happened to you at marchwood. I will add it to my complaint if it is a solid and has any ramifications about unethical conduct on behalf of the mngt of Marchwood. I also was about to move into Marchwood in Exton PA and ran into lie after lie from the mngt. I have evidence, (my initial agreement and phone conversations as well as 2 witnesses), I am filing a complaint and having it professional wrote with laws that were broken. Initially when we signed and deposited 100$ it was under the false stipulation that we would not have to pay for the 2 application fee's. After aproximetely 1 1/2 weeks the rep called and told us that one of us had to pay and apoligized. It was fine I said I would get that two them after my sugery. The day before surgery the manager called and harrassed me about having it in then (even when I told her that I would be unable for about a week to get it and she continued to tell me my roomate should do it then, apparently she does not know that when for personal reasons a response of no is given, that it cannot be held against a person. I was 2 hours away on my way to the Hopsital and the last thing I wanted to talk about was $25. Then 2 weeks later, I called to ask about our application and my rep was not there so I told them to have her call me. I was called back but by another person and told that they could not process it because they needed another 25$. I said at this point to them that they made a mistake one and I sent them a check, but now you are telling me you made two mistakes, that will cost me 50$". At that point I did my reasearch on laws and regulations and found out that they completely used false information when we signed the agreement and we should recieve all out money back. So I called requested the money and they said no. I am in the process of contacting toll mangt and also the BBB. I am also in Managemnet and am proffesional at all times when dealing with our clients, I do not believe this women has any type of professional training and should not be in a position to deal with potential clients. This women should not represent a business, I would not work with her, for her, or under her in any circumstances. I will be following up in all aspects. I am extremely busy with my career but feel that this needs to be handled otherwise a perfectly lagit company will continue to recieve shady reviews. I hope this will help any of you that have been mislead with false information from Marchwood. Also for individuals looking for a place to live I would highly recommend one of the other many apartment facilities that will treat you with curtesy and be happy for your business!

So sorry you had to endure what seems to be typical behavior from the apt office. The Regional office and Corporate offices are aware of the unprofessional behavior from the staff, but have not yet proceeded with any training or dismissal of the staff. It has been going on for a few yrs at least. Ignore the above poster. She is unable to spell grammar so must not be an English professor herself.
