My wife and I live in a 2 bedroom private entrance and at first loved living here. Definitley cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. Since we've lived here we seen maintenence staff replaced numorous times. Our utilitiy bills are also outreageous because they will not replace doors that are cracked (you can see sunlight coming through), the windows are old and drafty and the air return for the heater is half the size of the wall. This all adds up to drafty cold air and higher bills. Now they have placed meters in all the units so tenants have to pay for water and sewer.
Parking is a pain, at least in my part. Tenants are only supposed to have two vehicles per unit, but some people around here have 4 or more vehicles. They also lease apartments to students who go Immaculatta University as dorms which has contributed to loud cars and people wondering around and partying up.
The laundry facilities are horrible; machines are usually broken leaving clothes undry, or the washers may not finish spinning leaving your clothes sopping wet. Squirrels are running through the ceilings ofthe laundry room and when they leave the windows open you have becareful of the wasps and hornets flying above while you sort your clothes.
We also know that there has been a Termite problem as well, be wary if you have nicer wood furniture. The best thing about living here is atleast the police are less than a mile away and the fire and ambulance services only take about 2 minutes to get here.
