I have lived in Marchwood Apartments for 3 years, I do have to agree that there CAN be loud partying due to the college students. My utilities this winter were OUTRAGEOUSLY high, I'm talking $300 a month for the heating. I blame this on the fact that the windows are EXTREMELY drafty, as we have no storm windows. The fact that we have to pay for Cold Water and sewer rents is really stupid too. The apartment itself is OK....Pretty BASIC everything, bathrooms are nice, I live in a 2 bedroom upper private entrance and the room size is nice.
As for Lynn....I do have to give her credit, my husband and I are habitually late with our rent unfortuantely....and she is always great, she still HAS to file late fees and such but she has never given us an attitude about it. I think she understands we are doing our best. She's a tough woman, and doesn't take much nonsense but thats just her personality...

I totally disagree about Lynn. She is NOT "a tough woman" who "doesn't take much nonsense". She is extremely rude and unprofessional - NOT "tough". I have NEVER given her one bit of "nonsense" yet she's been a total and complete b*tch to me every time I have had to contact her. I don't deserve it. No one does, in particular not tenants WHOSE RENT PAYS HER SALARY. I have no idea why some people, like the author of this review, give Lynn credit. She's a jerk, and I have no idea how she can in good conscience even have the nerve to collect a salary for the supposed "job" she does. Then again, the way she has treated me indicates that she doesn't have much good conscience.

to the person who posted, and who is always late with rent...BE CAREFUL they will not let you renew your lease, unless you already plan on moving......it happened to me...and i never paid rent past the month it was due it was just late all the time.....

they won't let me renew my lease here?? OMG NOOOOOO hahha it would be a fvcking miracle if i could get out from under this hellhole. lynn is a total cvnt. the first time i dealt with her is when the retards who installed the water meter effed it up and water soaked the walls and carpets. my computer equipment was ruined. after i found out that my report was NEVER FILED she accused me of tampering with the water meter!!! slanderous wh0r3.

Lynn is pretty bad. I never had problems being late, but whenever she would mess up on paper work and I would point it out to her she would get very smart with me. I know you might think I had to have done something to her to cause her to act this way towards me, but all I ever did was sign a lease. Try having a regular conversation with her, and you'll see what everybody is fussing about. Read my review that I just posted today for more details.
