I am moving out, now that I can finally afford it since I have been basically pouring my money down the drain paying for outrageous utility bills.
Besides that, the place is noisy since Marchwood rents to tons of Immaculata students - there is even a shuttle to and from the college. Marchwood basically doesn't care if you are disturbed by the noise.
The property manager is one of the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I don't know how anyone could think that she is nice. She is totally unprofessional. Most of the staff under her aren't usually much better though you occasionally get someone who is nice.
The maintenance people are incompetent. The way the office staff deals with maintenance requests is totally unprofessional.
The buildings are old and the insulation is so poor.
The laundry rooms are like college dorm laundry rooms. Meaning not that great, but usually adequate.
Parking is a problem, if you come home too late for instance.
I would recommend that unless you are a college student, do not rent here.
