My wife and I have been living at Marchwood for under a year and feel that although there are definite negative aspects, there are also a lot of things we like about the apt.
Pros- Many large closets
Plenty of Parking
Large Balcony
Good size bedrooms
Up to date bathroom (compared to other apts we've seen)

Cons- Utility bills are way too high
Laundry facilities are dirty and washers are small
Extremely dusty (we will dust/vacuum and within hours everything is covered
in dust again)
Lynn flies around on her broom at night and taps on bedroom windows!!!

Soooo...you WOULD recommend marchwood? You didn't do your research prior to living there did you? Drive the extra few miles and live in a better place!

Actually yes we did do our research. Not saying it is the perfect apartment complex...clearly from the cons we wrote about. We have had a positive experience despite the few negatives.

My experience is that tenants gt stuck here for awhile. Because of the outrageously high utility bills, and the fact that you only have something like a 5-day arbitrary time period to give notice of not renewing the lease or it automatically renews. Once I had the staff telling me that our lease was going to automatically renew with an increase in rent unless they got a notarized copy of our letter giving notice, by a date that was very close. Well, my roommate was out of town and had just sent a letter in the mail without knowing this made up due date with notarization crap. We ended up just meeting the deadline somehow though I don't know how. The whole thing was a big inconvenience. They word the lease so vague so that they can pull these wierd tricks.
