I continue to have excellent memories of life at Whiteland West and lived there for many years before moving to purchase a large home. I would (and did to many) recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, well-maintained, park-like setting in which to live. I would choose this place again if I was in need of an apartment. Incidentally-- about the lease matters-- it IS the responsibility of the lessee to READ the lease and understand it BEFORE signing. Management certainly is NOT going to deny you that opportunity. If you don't like what you read-- don't sign it! Look elsewhere!

Intelligent, caring people. Hmmm. Who are you referring to? Your neighbors? If you find the office staff caring, it must be because you never asked them for anything. But wait, that's not fair. They do care. They care to make a good impressikon when showing the dump to the unwary stooge. By the way, do you perhaps have in some remote recess of your imagination enough room to consider that many who sign leases do not understand all of what they read. And perhaps they can be forgiven for TRUSTING those nice intelligent caring people. How many first time lease signers come to Whiteland West. Certainly some percentage are new to the game. And if the terms of the move-out are so blatantly aggressive and cause so much heartache and financial hardship, maybe then the management could be seen as being well aware that the lease they are handing over to be signed is not the old 'just a standard lease you know' rag, but has a contention in it that keeps biting people in the rear when they move out. But no, they are getting much more with their vinegar than they could with their sugar, and they don;t seem to care how many people they cause economic hardship to; it's profit from where Westover sits, and tough cookies for those trusting tennants. To say that we all should have read the ;ease first and we have no place to grumble is fine, but it also is a de facto admission that there is something to grumble about. Whiteland West does not deal in good faith.
