Moving in at Whiteland West is no problem. But when you decide to move on, the lease requires an un-realistic amount of notice to be given. If you do not give the required notice (and who is going to hold an apartment for you for months while you fulfill the terms of Whiteland West's ridiculous lease')it will cost you a month or two of rent just to move. And if you don't start paying them back IMMEDIATELY (this is money you are paying to them while you are now living somewhere else, paying rent somewhere else, and having just put down the security deposit at the new place, in other words YOU ARE TRAPPED AT WHITELAND WEST UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOAD OF DOUGH TO BUY YOUR WAY OUT) THEY WILL SELL THE DEBT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE. Consider the witness protection program to give you time to recoup and begin to pay them the thousands you will owe them. Moving in' They're your best friend. Moving out' They are SHARKS.

What are you, some kind of fuel? If they're gonna rip you for the move-out just pay 'em ten bucks a year. That's what I'm doing. They'll have their money back, paid in full, in the year 2237. When they get nasty I just put the 'phone in the freezer, and peace reigns supreme. Don;t let 'em inimidate yer. Read up on the fair debt collection act. There's only so much they can do.

Give me a break! If you would read your Lease and give proper notice, you would not have any issues! If you are not smart enough to understand what you are signing...then you should not be signing it! It's called Life on your own, kids!

Proper notice? How many complexes require 3 months notice? Let us know how you fare trying to find a place that'll hold an aprtment open for you for three months. I admit the reviewer is a 'sign and whine' scoundrel, however if the lease has a move-out notice requirement that is not feasable for most people, then the owners of the complex are well aware of this and are profiting from the mistakes of the unwary. Just because it's in writing doesn't mean it's not meant to take advantage of people. Which came first, the hastey signing public or the unusually long move-out requirement that reaps extra profits for the owner and leaves the tenant in a serious financial bind? The unwary signer came first, and Whiteland West is taking advantage of them, it's that simple, there. cheif.
