My family is currently living at chalet village. Over all, I don??t recommend living here. I have several reasons which are:
1.The rent is to high for what you get
2.Getting something fixed is nearly impossible. If it does get fixed at all, plan on waiting at least 2 to 4 weeks. There is ONE maintenance person assigned to Chalet Village. There are about 100 apartments / town homes he is responsible for.
3.The buildings are old and partially sinking into the Earth. No joke.
4.The office is very polite. They will tell you what they think you want to hear in order to get you out of there office. Don??t ever expect a return call from the office pertaining to a maintenance request.
5.The pool looks like a sewage dump when it is closed for the season. People throw trash in the pool. The ducks swim and defecate feces in the pool during the fall, winter, and spring. It is really disgusting.
It is only fair for me to mention some positive thing about living here.
1.The schools are very good
2.Most of the people are friendly
3.The grounds are kept clean
