Perhaps it depends upon the building, but-

I've had a great experience at top of the hill. The management is courteous, helpful, and understanding. They're a close knit group- I've only dealt with two people- and they worked with us to help us meet income requirements so we could sign the lease.

Beyond that, they handle things with promptness and ability. When we moved in, they provided the standard "write down whatever's wrong with the apartment for liability purposes" move-in list. To our shock (based on previous apartment living experiences in the area) they took the list, and fixed every little thing we wrote on there by the next day (even replacing a blind that was chipped in the corner).

We live below one of the maintenance guys, and he's very courteous and has fixed any little detail we see fit. We've even been late with rent, accidentally, and they didn't fine us or apply late fees. They just asked us what happened, we explained, and they were cool.

I would definitely recommend this apartment above all others. We lived in Thunder Hollow and it was a pricy nightmare. This complex is affordable, cute, and reliable. Plus, they pay all utilities except for electric (the heat is gas). That may not sound like a big deal, but at Thunder Hollow we had some nightmarish, $600 utility bills. (you're responsible for everything there- even cold/water trash removal bills come to $100).

Do yourself a favor and go check this place out. You won't regret it.

Just today I had a problem with my plumbing. It's been a reoccuring drainage/stoppage situation. It was closing time, but they got the guys out and fixed it. Dollar for dollar the complex offers good value.
