This place is a dump! It may look pretty, but don't judge a book by the cover! The new owners have caused alot of issues: major increases in rent, the institution of fines for "infractions," and there seems to be some mystery about maintaining the trash area. Appliances are old and are not cost efficient; new mngmt will not replace them if they are still working. Heating/cooling bills are outrageous due to broken window seals, vaulted ceilings and non existent maintenance of the HVAC systems. We have just been informed about unacceptable radon levels in various buildings around the complex! The new mngmt says they are putting in a fitness center, a putting green, and other updates - we don't want/need them...just another excuse to raise the rent! Luxury''' I don't think so! If you want to be smart, you'll look elsewhere! If you're looking to be environmentally friendly, this isn't the place -- the carbon footprint is the size of Bigfoot.

Ownership has had the building for three months. Increases in rent have been minimal, and new ownership is updating the facility tremendously, including new appliances kitchens, bathrooms painting, landscaping etc. Old ownership never addressed the radon issue, which new ownership is doing. If you want to blame old ownership for not keeping up the property that is fine. However, the new management and ownership is attempting to make Coventry a wonderful and special place to make a home.

I've lived here for over 10 yrs. and the property had fallen in major disrepair the old management was less than pleasant and never courteous. We were subjected to dangerous second hand smoke whenever we would pay our rent... don't buy into this spiteful rhetoric. If there was ever a time to look at making your home here it is now. We rec'd an increase but we also were given the opportunity to discuss some issues we had been living with from work that was never completed 4 yrs. ago(the former Mgr.) said if we weren't happy we could move...and the new manager followed through with her word and had issues resolved in 4-days that we couldn't get from the last Mgr.in the 4yrs.! We do have an issue with the trash and the new Management has implemented a reycling program and that a lot of people are happy about. I think they have taken on a lot of issues the former owners neglected and people got used to them not caring and stopped caring too. We are glad for the new changes around here and I don't mind paying a fair price for good service and a friendly and courteous staff.

New manager is a "know it all," and, unfortunately, she has angered many people. Yes, the new owners have poured a lot of money into this development and we greatly appreciate the working street lights and the fact that the exterior of the buildings will be painted and roofs replaced. However, this development is over 17 years old so it does not warrant the same kind of rent as the newer properties in the area. Also, the property is located in Chester Heights not Glen Mills; the "Glen Mills" address came about because the post office does not deliver mail in Chester Heights. It seems that requests for repairs are put on the back burner until updating of empty apartments is done. If you walk through the complex when it is dark you will notice that most fire escapes are not well lit if they are lit at all. I wonder why the fire marshal hasn't addressed this critical situation. There are a lot of empty apartments so if you decide to come here there is plenty to choose from. In time the problems will be ironed out; however, the new manager needs to be put in her place. She is very abrasive, and if the exterior of her apartment is any indication of the way she manages the place is in trouble. I wonder if a manager has ever fined herself for having a bunch of crap hanging here, there, and everywhere on the outside of her apartment!! Finally, yes, the former management did let the place go a bit, but one thing is for sure: they respected their tenants and went out of their way to serve them.

The New manager is The Biggest "Know it all". Problems are never resolved just brushed to the side with excuses of "property improvements". I loved living here before new management moved in. Now it is time to go. Please Do Not waste your time

Make sure you check out the landscape at Coventry! It is a mixture of weeds, weeds, weeds, and more weeds. I wonder where all the $$$$$$$$$$$$ from the high rents is going? Place is a 20-year old DUMP!!
