Good first place, not a forever home If you are looking for your first apartment close to the city, but don't want to live in the city - this place isn't too bad.

Definitly! This place is really resonalbly priced, the tenants are a little wierd, but management is decent and the utilities are awesome! Its a little rundown, but come on, what do you expect for the price and easy access to the highway?

Idiot Manager I hate to say, but Barb is a real piece of crap. She is a real idiot and does not know how to talk to people. I really think she is a Psycho, she should better be in mental hospital instead of Manager.

Have to say that Barb is a real idiot an rude and the maintenance department don't know what there doing have to call to get repairs done several times. Shaler Highlands is a real dump. They only treat the people they like with any dignity

Lousy Management Barb was a pain to deal with. She was mean to everyone, that I know of, that lived there. I lived there for 4 years and couldn´t wait to get out of there. The apartment would have mildew growing on the walls. They wouldn´t care about it. We had health problems living

Great Apartments for the price I lived in a 2 BR apartment here for approximately 1 year. I thought they were laid out pretty nice, and a great deal for the montly price. The neighbors were nice, the apartments were pretty well kept and maintained. I really don´t have any major complaints

Great first time apt or single parent place to save for your own home... I have been at Shaler Highlands for many years and agree with all the posted reviews.
This can be a great place if you have decent neighbors, if not its noisy. I have been lucky enought that only the upper left neighbor

Not a good place Place is dirty. Mud everywhere outside. Paint is dull.
Guests cant believe I even live in this place.
Lots of trash and cig buts everywhere.
Upstairs people are very noisy even after 11pm the quiet hours.
they come home, slam doors, drop things, and kids running
