I have lived here about 2.5 years and although there is no perfect apartment community available, I think Beaufort still has a lot to recommend it.
The apartments are spacious, my building has some pretty friendly and courteous neighbors as well. There is a great deal of storage space and the proximity to stores, restaurants and highways is ideal. Having your heat and cooking gas included in the rent I find a plus.
My dealings with the office staff and maintenance has been mostly very pleasant and I have felt that if you meet them half way they will do what is in their power to accomodate you.
Hoping to move into a larger apartment soon and will continue to call this home if things stay as they are presently.
One point for improvement might be mentioned though; they might try an update the kitchen cabinets as these are getting a bit rough around the edges with being 35 years old. It would make the kitchens a lot more appealing and bright.
