Nice up front, but then you wonder what you've gotten yourself into.

The refrigerator has a large gap in the seal near the top of the door. There is a large rectangular hole in the wall on one side of the refrigerator, which apparently at one time was covered by a piece of ply-wood painted white, but has since come unnailed somehow. The kitchen floor is slanted. The tiles in the longer wall of the shower are being pushed out by the warped wood behind them, because whenever the shower was built the builders did not install cement board behind the tiles to waterproof the wall. The bathroom was grouted by someone whose motto was, "The more grout, the better." There are globs of it in the corners on the tile floor and in the shower stall itself. We had ants in our bathroom and in our bedroom - but not, oddly enough, in the kitchen. There are seventeen parking spaces in our lot and our building contains twenty apartments - you do the math. It took the management three months and a total of three phone calls to change the lightbulb in the main hallway. On the other hand, they installed new carpet for us and there is an abundance of closet space. The layout is nice, and the balcony is a decent size. However, we work overnight and sleep during the day, which is difficult to do considering that teenagers are outside our apartment yelling at each other and swearing at the top of their lungs most of the day. Also, if we would have known that people from the other buildings would come over to our parking lot and sit on our neighbors car and smoke weed, then slash his tires a few nights later because he told them to get off of his car, we never would have moved in here.
