My Fiance' and I searched for a place to live for over a year, until we found the Brook! The management worked with us to get in on our budget (different layouts and the rent difference) and we had our apartment in 2 weeks.

New paint but some minor fixes needed when we moved in but maitenence came quickly to repair it. It's also nice to know that you can do what you want to decorate the walls, if you want to paint, all they ask is you to repaint it off-white when you move out.. or they could do it for you but there is a charge for labor/materials. Reasonable, yes.
Keep in mind, these are older apartment so appliances are nothing special but they are in perfect working condition.

I saw some other reviews about the neighbors but I disagree. Anywhere you go there are going to be some people that do not follow the rules. But that is why they get evicted when they are caught... People in the neighborhood always say hi, in passing. No nosey neighbors.

Overall, its a good place to live. Location is great, especially if you work in Colonial Park area. We save over $100 a month in gas.
