I??ve always been told ??you get what you pay for.?? I may have a really cheap rent, but that??s the end of the advantages of living at the Brook or my friends call it tha ??Crook.??

From the get-go, I have been very unsatisfied with service that I have had in the Brook. Management are often very rude, unreliable and not willing to assist. Maitenance was a nightmare and safety was always a problem.

This was the worst maintenance team I have ever seen in any complex. My plumbing is near antique. They are unreliable and leave without completing jobs. When my locks were changed, they forgot to give me a key so I was outside for 2 hours.

AC and Heat does not work efficiently and my bills significantly higher than a much larger townhouse I used to live in. My building have VERY OLD windows and my heat bills skyrocketed because of this. Also the water quality is really gross. I think there may be no insulation or not enough because not only do I constantly feel a draft and my heat bills are crazy, but I can hear my neighbors television, music, etc all the time.

Safety was often an issue. Cops and security guards roam the parking lot on an hourly basis, but it still cannot stop an emerging problem. Although I haven't seen much crime I know there are drug dealers living around here. I also saw 2 busts where SWAT arrested people and were carrying plastic bags out. There was at least one stabbing and a rape since I have lived in the Brook.

I have been here for about a year, and when I called to see if they wanted the cancellation note sent in certified mail, the operator told me he would call me back, and I have now been waiting 3 hours??.you decide??.
