Drug Needles and Crimes, Oh My!

I lived at Camelot for one year and found it to be a miserable experience. On more than one ocassion, I found discarded drug needles and accompanying bags beneath the stairs in my building. The 3 bedroom building (there is only one building with 3 bedroom apartments)I lived in was built so that it was sinking (!) into the ground. Cold in the winter. Heat goes right out the drafty windows. Not at all efficient. Figure in the increasing crime rate (violent attacks, etc.) and the hill the community is located on (absolutely horrendous in wintery weather), you've got one whopper of a bad community. And this was years ago. I know it's even worse now. Don't move there unless you are one step away from living in a cardboard box on the corner and are absolutely DESPERATE!
The last post looks like it was written by a staff member. Not at all objective.

WHat a crock! It seems the last 2 bad posts were from the same individual taking their frustrations out and just out and out telling lies about the property. It's a nice community. Go check it out for yourself. p.s. if you lived there from 1997-98 how the heck would you know it's bad today? perhaps it was bad when you lived there....and got better after you left! One has to wonder if you left of your own accord?

Ok kids! back to your neutural corner. Lets start with the fact that you have no proof staff members post on here. Well just as much proof as they do that you are a competing property in the area trying to increase your own traffic by stealing thiers by posting fraudulent reviews to scare people into not even going there. Believe it or not there ARE people here who would give Camelot a 6 star rating if they could. Furthermore, they do a criminal check on people before they move them in. Camelot does not tolerate crime. They also have a great rapport with the local police which i am sure anyone who called the police could find out for themselves. Heck they were even invited to the annual resident cookout. I agree with the other response. You seem to have a personal vendetta against someone in the office (an office staff which is not the same as when you reported living there )and would lie to satisfy some childish mentality you have. My advice to anyone is not to listen to ANY review and call them up and ask them yourselves. We're all grown up now and can make our own minds where we want to live after we go look and get the info ourselves.

Yes, for your information, I DID leave of my own accord. It's because of the drug paraphenelia I found under the stairs that I left and moved to a much NICER community, where I've been happily living crime-free ever since. And I know it's worse from others who've lived there in recent years and tell me that they too need to get out for their own safety. My guess is that you are a staff member, just like all the other 5 star ratings seen on this site. These reviews from other tenants speak for themselves. Or, better yet, just listen to the police scanners if you don't believe me. I'm just trying to save others from the headaches that I endured due to living at that hell hole. There ARE SAFER and NICER places to live if you just look. Thank you for your time. UPDATE: To the person that calls himself or herself Residentxyz, I am not from a competitor property. I am a person who lived in Camelot and had a horrible experience. I'm not trying to make up someone's mind, I'm trying to inform them of my experience (and according to the numerous negative ratings, I'm not the only one) to save them from a similar experience. You are entitled to your opinion, as am I. And lastly, for the record, I'd tend to believe that you may in fact be a staff member. How else would you know that local police is invited to the annual picnic? |

In response to Happy Now's update of "And lastly, for the record, I'd tend to believe that you may in fact be a staff member. How else would you know that local police is invited to the annual picnic?" Responde....DUH, they are a REsident. Everyone who attended the party knows they were there! You obviously have some personal issues with someone in the office....from 1997 (8 years ago)You seemed determined to attribute any positive comment to them when in fact some people do actually like where they live. Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience WAY back then, but mine has been great! and they did not raise my rent when i renewed this year!
