If you're looking for a nice place near the mountains in Pennsylvania, this is the place. I lived for over 30 years in my own home in a wooded area near Hummelstown. After years of repairs, unexpected expenses, heating a whole house, shoveling snow, raking leaves, this is a fantastic way to live. The maintenace here I've found to be quick to respond as long as you tell the office staff and don't let things go until there is a real problem. How you approach people has a lot to do with having your repairs done. Remember, there are more apartments than just yours, so be patient with staff. I've never had any problem getting things fixed.

We came when there was different management and I can say the management at this time has made many improvements in the two and half years we've been here. I've not found the walls to be thin, but people who don't read their Rental Agreement and use excessive sound systems with surround and subwoofers, need to be kind to their neighbors. Management will let them know and if they don't listen and they get too many marks against them (police being called, etc.) they will be asked to vacate.

I just love living here and would recommend this complex to anyone. Children in the community are usually well behaved, but that should be the parents responsiblity not the apartment managements responsibillity. With only 8 apartments in each building it is really quiet. There is an 11 pm to 8 am quiet time and most people adhere to it.

Move here, it's GREEEEEAAAATTTT!
