OK, but you can do better

The apartments are somewhat roomy and all of the appliances are new, but things are stupidly designed. You can't open the kitchen cabinet all the way (or even half-way) because it hits the light on the ceiling. You can't open the bedroom door & the closet door because they hit into each other. Everything is crooked (the furniture stands crooked, pictures fall over), doors stick closed, the windows are very drafty & bugs get in as soon as you open your window. None of the screens work. The appliances are all very small - fridge/ freezer, washer/dryer, microwave. Most apartments don't have a balcony... what are you supposed to do with a sliding glass door on the 3rd floor with no balcony'' On the other hand, the maintenance staff is very responsive, snow removal done quickly, nice bathrooms & closet space, apartments are quite sound proof... you can make a lot of noise without pissing off neighbors. The highway noise isn't too loud unless you're in an apartment right next to the highway. There is a great view... at least from the 3rd floor. The rent seems competitive with other apartment complexes, but if you search around, you can find much nicer places without spending much more. Parking is real good... you always have a spot in front of your building.
