Not bad, but look around first

Every reviewer has a different experience, so mine is different from all others. I lived in the bottom floor and here are my issues: 1) Windows are drafty, lose a lot of heat in winter. 2) Bugs, bug, bugs. The first year I was there I would find countless house centipedes. If you have never seen one of these your in for a treat. Harmless, but the ugliest things you have ever seen. 3) Maintenance is awful. At first they were responsive, but this past year I have had several issues. In Jan 2003 my ceiling collapsed from a water leak two floors up. They came that night and put a temporary piece of drywall up to cover the hole. It is now almost May 2003 and they haven't been back to fix it. I have called twice, and written a letter. They called back about two months ago and said they were aware of the problem, but waiting on a contract. Yeah, whatever. Also in Feb 2003 we got 24 inches of snow overnight and they waited until it all fell before they started plowing. This left everyone without shovels stranded until three days later when it began to melt. 4) They say they have a car wash area, but they only leave the hose out for you about two months out of the year. As of now this year, it is still not out. 5) One plus is having a washer/dryer, microwave, and dishwasher in my apt. But not all apt.'s have that. 6) Highway noise doesn't bother me. Either I am used to it, or I just don't notice it anymore. 7) Parking is great because you will always have a spot. 8) In my opinion rent is too high for what I am getting in return. Definately look around first, and keep these in mind for location purposes only.
