My boyfriend and I moved in to Eagle's Crest & it was the only apartment we even looked at -- BIG MISTAKE. First off, there were a crapload of centipedes as well as various other bugs due to the windows and doors being poorly sealed -- I'm talking huge gaps between the door/windows & the wall. Secondly, the water was constantly getting shut off during the summer, and if you live on the strip of apts facing Londonderry Rd, the noise from the construction at the hospital is unbearable during the day. The stairwells stink of cat litter and/or dogs, and neighbors tend to leave their dogs' crap in the lawn. Also, people are inconsiderate when it comes to parking -- there are plenty of spots behind the regular ones, however visitors never seem to notice that & if you come home after 8pm you don't get a spot in front of your own apartment. I had a 3rd floor apartment and the central air did not work AT ALL -- finally my boyfriend checked the filter (which should have been changed when we moved in) and it was all frozen and clogged up...which wasted a lot of our money on the electric bill. Also, you have to have a 2 bedroom to have a balcony...one bedrooms have sliding glass doors with just some bars going across (which are not sturdy or safe at all). Overall, this place is a rip off & you pay too much for what you actually get. Make sure you look around first!!!
