I lived here three years ago and decided to move back. I remembered the issues with gas heat and electric but it is a cheap move into complex. I never had problems with bugs at that time. I have just recently moved back to the complex in a first floor Terrace Plus unit. As another commentor stated, dirt does come in the windows, but what do you expect they are even with each other. I did have problems with cleanliness when I moved in, which I took care of myself, but I was sure to advise the office about. Other things that I was unable to clean/fix myself was brought to the maintence departments attention the Monday following my moving in. They came out the same day and fixed most of it, and my concerns regarding bugs due to the cleaning problem was taken care of when terminix came out on Tuesday. I've now face a horrible situation due to the floor plan/architecture and windows.. I bought a couch that just can't get in the front door, ceiling is 1 foot lower in the entry way then other apartments. Upon talking with the staff they have done everything in their power from double checking if windows can be removed and taking measurements of the furniture themselves to see how to get it in. In the end, we decided to switch apartments. Not that it's fun moving, but I would have lost $200 to send the furniture back to the store I bought it from. So far, they are still holding up there end to do their best for the customer. After reading some of the other reviews I felt it was necessary to post this. As a consumer you have to be proactive in making any purchase work for you and an apartment is a purchase. If something is not working call the office.. that's what they are there for and if that doesn't work, call the headquarters in Baltimore. But be a good consumer and give praise where necessary also. Don't just state the faults.

I had the furniture won't go in the door problem back in 1978. Maintenance can break the bottom row of the pane of windows and you can move your stuff in through the window. They can replace the broken window with removable plexiglass. just make sure they bust the glass inside to outside.
