I've been at High Pointe for 4 months. It's a great place to live and I haven't had management problems. I called maintenance to fix a damaged light and they came within the week. Other than that, I haven't had further issues. My side of the community is quiet and serene. Yes, there's the occasional child riding his bike but never boisterous troublemakers around my apt. The apartment itself is relatively updated, everything is in working order. My drains are slow, even after treating them. But that's it, that's nothing compared to other complexes. I also feel safe which is most important. I haven't had any of the management problems others speak of, but I only contacted them twice. This summer they hosted a "pool party" and every month they issue a newsletter. This is the only community I've lived in that tries to keep in touch with their residents. I've referred a few others to High Pointe and they really enjoy the community as well.
