The building itself is not bad. The prices of the rentals are reasonable. All utilities included plus HBO...The problem is that the staff here has no idea of how to run a property. The girls in the office are too young and immature to manage a property of this size. This makes everything else bad. Do not fall for the bait and switch tactics. The computer room is merely a visual. Dig deeper and you find that the machines rarely function. The exercise room has broken machines. The elevators are always broken. The parking is horrific for the tenants unless you want to pay $100 more to park in the basement garage. The staff parks in the residents spaces with no regard to how that is viewed. Why not give the staff access to park indoors in the basement garage so that they stop hogging valuable resident parking' This is just the tip of the iceberg of the guileless lack of awareness of this communities management. Even the move-in kit contains out dated information such as phone numbers to restuarants that are no longer in business or do not deliver anymore. What exactly do the 4 girls in the office do everyday besides collect a paycheck' My apartment was so dirty when I moved in I had to spend half the day cleaning instead of unpacking. They had over a month to prepare the place for a new tenant. Speaking with other residents has made me aware that this is the norm, and not as isolated incident.
The neighborhood looks good at first glance until you look deeper and see drugs being sold around the corner. There is no convenient or safe place to get groceries. You are pretty much forced to walk along the river if you want to feel safe. Do not move here unless you are a very tolerant person.
