This place is HORRIBLE!

There are so many unhappy residents in this building.
Your best bet is to AVOID!
Curb appeal is not the only thing suffering at the Harrisburg, PA building.
We chose Korman because of their long standing reputation built on doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.
It is not reflected at Korman Communities of Harrisburg. We know the difference having lived in other Korman Communities Managed properties.
Simply taking time and reviewing the erroneous move-in packet handed out to the new residents will offer insight to how careless the current staff at the Harrisburg location is. For example there are entries for local restaurants that have not been in business for several years. Security of the building is a major concern amongst residents. The security personnel are seen sleeping or surfing the Internet while on the phone. The computer room contains obsolete, virus infected PCs and faulty printers. The exercise room has damaged equipment. Hallways are disgustingly dirty. Elevators are frequently out of service. Apartments are not inspected correctly for potential hazards or a respectable level of cleanliness prior to new residency. All of these problems are met by an office staff who does nothing, but offer excuses, and diversion, without addressing the core issues and taking pride in their work.
The level of professionalism at this location is non-existent. The boisterous level of comments, vulgarity and laughter escaping the sales and residential office daily is often embarrassing. Then again what can be expected by an office full of 20 something females that are primarily unsupervised and are here to collect a paycheck.
