Long, long time resident finally leaving. A great complex that is going to hell. Dogs everywhere but virtually all complexes allow them now, so that's not the issue. Great maintenance staff which is ordered to repair smething 4 times before replacing it. When I started looking around at nicer, newer complexes, I found the rents there were no higher than at Lakewood. Oh, by the way, "Corporate leases" means they rent to the summer cleaning crew from HersheyPark who have late night beer parties all summer long. The place really hit the skids after the 11/2004 fire. The burned out hulk was left standing for 9 months before being demolished. Great advertising to prospective tenants passing through. Siding is falling off the buildings and it takes months before it is reoaired. It wasn't just one mugging last summer bit several.

I also lived in lakewood, it is turning into a slum. loud music, people caot control the dogs me and my mom where almost attacked by a dog. the apartment was nice but the model was a lie.you dont get what they say you are. My car was broken into. Please if you are reading this dont move here you ca do better.
