I resided at Pennswood for three years. I liked the idea that they accepted my lab mix and the on-call maint. personnel were great. When I asked why the raise in rent.. they said to upgrade the apt's. For three years there was no upgrading of my apt at ALL.. including the drafty windows and the 1960 style cabinetry. At the end, i cleaned the apt... including renting a carpet shampooer to shampoo all the carpeting to avoid paying any "cleaning fees" at the end... nope, they soaked me over $1,000 to clean the carpet. I was not happy. Anyway, take warning if you are debating renting from this facilty.

Same old, same old. They always charge for the carpets. I bet they didn't even replace your old carpet. Then they will charge the next tenant for wear and tear on the carpet and get another thousand.
