My advice if this place seems to be ok to you take pictures before and after you move out. We lived there one year. We were never late on rent, no complaints against us. We asked for a walk through and was advise it was not needed the property manager did it himself. Well boy did we get screwed.

Excellent advice! And never let management tell you something that isnt already in writing. Doing a walk thru at time of move in along with a check list should be a given for any renter. Having video and pictures do help! Heck get a third party witness to the move in and condition.The kicker I hear time and again from renters is they *trust* the management. Whatever for? They are there to profit and preserve the assets at all cost to you the renter. Place all complaints in writing and follow up!
