Not the worse but pretty close.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
These apartments used to be a huge ghetto complex that was flooded and shut down for several years. A company bought it and ?revitalized it? turning them into ?upscale apartments?.
If you are moving to the city from elsewhere and don't know where to live, please realize that you can, for less money, live in a much better place. The only way you should be crazy enough to live here is if you work at the hospital because it is only 2 blocks away. I find that half the people end up driving to work in the city because it is too cold or too hot in Central PA even if they are only a few blocks away. This is quite lazy, I?ll admit. Read on for an in depth review.
I'll be brief with each point:
1. The office staff is rude. One is quite nice and I found myself at least enjoying her presence. This didn?t make up for the adrenaline rush I got when confronting the others about something as simple as picking up a package, even after many attempts at ?breaking the ice? (you need an ice pick from God to get through to the one woman).
2. Maintenance is relatively fast, but not incredibly efficient, taking many shortcuts.
3. $900 a month with parking for 900 sq. ft. - You can rent a 1200 sq. ft. house for this much.
4. Their "business center" is one old computer which always has little kids playing games.
5. The gym equipment gets no maintenance and the aerobics equipment is about the fall apart.
6. The "common room" usually has someone watching TV for hours at a time. It used to be open 24/7, now you can't get in for late night pool.
7. The swimming pool is usually empty of people, but everyone can look at you and no drinks allowed. If you are attractive guys ogle, if you are ugly, you are ashamed at 600 people looking.
8. There is no reservation system for common areas.
9. They are very unbending with all the rules in their THIRTY PAGE LEASE.
10. Unless you pay for the view (10 bucks per floor, up to $100 extra), you get to see old people watching TV.
11. Extremely hot and bright from the windows. In winter you may need the A/C during the day and full heat at night, terrible for furniture and allergies. The EXTREMELY LOUD Heating/Air Conditioning system is full of dust, dustiest place I've ever lived.
12. If you live with a roommate you will be able to hear every sound they make in their bedroom. The bedroom walls are simply wood paneling with air in between. Get out your earplugs to sleep. Opening up the closet door in the morning/night will wake your roommate, so you better have the same sleep schedule, oh wait, one bathroom?
13. Did I mention the rude office staff'
13b. By the way, the office staff think they are way better than you are, conceited &$#@.
14. The appliances are cheap and the cupboards (bath and kitchen) are crappy. Doors fall off the closets and are in constant need of repair.
14b. Their state-of-the-art laundry facility is state-of-the-art priced.
15. Ok, I'll leave with one good note, the convenience of being able to walk to work or to walk home from a wonderful evening drinking is nice. It's nice to be close to riverfront.
However, there are about 5 other apartment complexes with this convenience. Cabs are everywhere.
Try these: Mulberry Station, YMCA area, The Village at Highland Park (Lemoyne), Old City Hall, various 1 and 2 bedroom rentals in the City or in Wormleysburg.
