I moved out of PA Place about five months ago. The staff is not all rude, but they are not attentive to your needs either. The apartments are small and the walls are very thin. I lived on the side where garbage was picked up and could hear the worker's conversations on the ninth floor.
The closets routinely went off track; the dishwasher always backed up and water seeped under the living-room floor. The place is expensive by Harrisburg standards, but I enjoyed the fact that my jealous ex-girlfriend couldn't gain access to the place without a swiper.
I also enjoyed my walk to work, which was three blocks away. Much of Harrisburg's nightlife was in walking distance, so I always had somewhere to go on the weekend.
Overall, my stay wasn't that bad. Except for parking, which was expensive ( I have two vehicles).
