DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EVEN LOOK AT THIS PLACE. If you come the office staff will appear so nice and helpful and you'll be fooled about how nice the apartments look on the inside. The only thing I even remotely can stand about living in this place is the large apartment size. I got a 2 bedroom for what a normal 1 bedroom apartment would cost in this area. DO NOT BE FOOLED. I can hear every single step my neighbors upstairs take and it drives me insane. I also can hear their television and them yelling or loudly talking. The quality of people who live here is poor. If you are a law student considering living here DO NOT. It is way too noisy and there is way too much crap to deal with the office staff and maintenance. The office staff is completely unprofessional, sarcastic, and uninformed about basic rental procedures. If there is something missing in the lease they will say that it doesn't have to be because it is "company policy." Which is absolutely ridiculous, not to mention illegal. There is also a centipede problem which is absolutely disguisting. It's not an infestation, but it's still a problem and really gross. Maitenance takes FOREVER to come. Sometimes over a month. The office staff says it is because there is only one maintenance person - well that should not be my problem! SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my advice and do not live here because you will regret it. If you are a law student - especially take all these things into consideration - take a smaller apartment that is better quality. I really wish someone would have told me all this when I moved in. I have friends who live in Williamsburg and love it - more young professionals live there. I would recommend looking there and staying clear of this place.

Excellent review. I had many of the same problems when I lived there... "If there is something missing in the lease they will say that it doesn't have to be because it is "company policy."" That lease is so poorly written and the staff i dealt with had such a poor understanding of it. They actually told me "you should have known" about things that were not in the lease. "There is also a centipede problem which is absolutely disguisting" There is no other creature on the face of this planet as foul as the centipede. I HATED those things there. Maintenance used to be really good and they were actually the only thing about the apartments that I really liked. ITs a shame that they are down to one maintenance employee taking care of 200 apartments. My guess would be that the company treats the maintenance worse then they treat the tenants which is pretty bad.
