This is the first apartment I have ever rented. I was 20 years old at the time (currently 21) and found there to be no troubles while I was a tenant. The maintenance staff was always prompt. The apartments are spacious and offer a lot of storage (walk-in closets, ample living room closets, decently sized pantry, linen closet, etcetera). The appliances were all brand-new or next-to-new at the time of us moving in. Each unit gets a security card which allows access to the clubhouse (gym, sauna, swimming pool). Communal dumpsters and mailboxes are within close proximity to the apartments. Electrical outlets were plentiful. It's positioned maybe 2 miles from 81. And at most, 15 minutes from downtown Harrisburg.

Now onto the negative.

The bedroom that my roommate had taken had no ceiling light. Kind of a pain, but easily remedied with enough floor lamps.
One thing that also bugged me was that there were inspections done every so often. The maintenance staff would just allow themselves inside and poke around the apartment, checking appliances, plumbing, etc. I'm a private person, and I understand the need to keep things working as they should -- but for some reason, I just felt weird about it. Another negative would most definitely have to be the price. My apartment was a two bedroom, one garage, lower unit and the rent was 1090/month. If you're comfortable paying that, i'd say go for it.


And now good again...
My roommate and I got our security deposit back (sans the fee to clean the carpet). We cleaned the apartment when we vacated, but didn't have to spend hours upon hours doing so.

Overall, If you can afford it, I'd say rent from this property. You should have a good experience as well.
