The Terraces appear, on the surface, to be worth the price. The fireplace, the patio, the modern appliances, are all appealing. Then, after some time there, you realize the paint rubs off to the touch, the walls are not primed, the faucets leak, and sometimes there may even be mice living in the walls. Yes, mice. Over time, the place is DEFINITELY not worth the price. I also recommend that once you sign a lease there, don't ever break it. I had to break my lease during my second year because of medical reasons. I called to discuss my options with management. They told me that it would cost me a specific amount to break my lease. Because I did not have my lease with me where I was staying, I asked them to explain it to me. Each time I called, I received different answers. I called two days prior to my move to ensure my balance due. When I went to pay, the amount was a grand over what they had told me. Bottom line is that they will lie (or seriously misrepresent)and then hide behind legal documents. They do not care if they screw you over. I should have realized this when they lied to me repeatedly before I moved in about the cost of my rent. They also called me a week before I was supposed to move in and told me that my credit had been denied. This was AFTER I had made a payment down on an apartment. I had NO place to live and was starting school, so I ended up paying six months in advance, just to live there. Did I also forget that they changed my move in date TWICE' This place is nice on the surface, but is completely flawed, from the cheap construction to the disfunctional management.
