I lived at Treeview for just over 2 1/2 years and didn't have any major problems. When I moved in, all the cabinetry and stove/microwave in my apartment were brand new!! It appears that during my stay, the mgmt continued to update them as apts turned over. The dishwasher, yellow bathtub and washer/dryer were not new but in okay condition.

My biggest complaint was the dryer -- it does vent inside the bathroom and that naturally creats dust in the bathroom and the clothes take longer to dry b/c of the humid air. Sometimes a load would take 1 1/2 hrs or more to dry so I frequently used my drying rack.

Another problem that was frustrating is that my furnace would stop during my first winter. It occurred a total of three times. The first two times, the maintenance staff would come, fix something and I would come home to it working. The final time that it happened, I called the oncall maintenance staff (which that night was from Springford) and they came and refixed whatever was fixed by the Treeview staff two days before. I didn't have any problems the next 2 winters at all. My friends who lived there also had furnace problems so my advice would be to keep on them and utilize the oncall personnel if it occurs.

As for noise, it depends on your neighbors. I could hear the ceiling fan and porch parties of the apt below and the dog and the vacuum next door. Other than that, no problems in this dept.

I had plenty of space and storage inside the apt. I loved the large windows and the light in the bedrooms. Maintenance does come to your apt to update your fire extinguisher and make upgrades but I always received a note a few days ahead of time. I never found that anything was moved, missing or anything.

Outside, it was sorta dark but there were very few times that I was unnerved. Sometimes parking wasn't so close but this is location dependant b/c some of the buildings have closer or more parking than other.

Beware of nuiances about the lease: You have to give 2 months notice and pay a fine of one month's rent to end your lease. Also, you have to pay to have the carpet cleaned when you move out.

Overall I was very pleased with my stay once my heating probs were fixed. Probably the best apt I've ever lived in and I've lived in a few... The office staff was pleasant and easy to deal with. They hold onto pkgs for you which is great for internet purchases! They also remove banisters and hold parking for you when you move in or out. This really helps for that mattress and sofa!

Finally -- the tennis courts are great and lite up till 10 pm!!!
