Pricey, but worth it...

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
The rent is rather high, especially for the smaller units, but this complex is well-kept and significantly nicer than any comparable ones in the area offering a 2 bed/2 bath unit (and they have no problem with well-behaved pets).
They hired a new property manager last year, which probably took care of most of the earlier problems that were reported.
They are replacing all of the windows, most of my appliances are new and any maintenance issues I've had have been addressed promptly.
The area is residential and safe, and while adjoining walls are thin, everyone in my building has been very genial.
