I called a few months ago, looking for information about apartments for my friend and her little girl. All she can afford is a 1 bedroom place. That is when the woman, I think her name was Lori or Lisa or somethin, told me that they did "not allow" children in 1 bedrooms. That their 1 bedrooms were "adult only". I couldn't believe it!!! I thought that this seemed odd, maybe against the law... I have a good friend who is an attorney and she told me that this does violates fair housing. My friend couldn't move in their unless she took a 2 bedroom. All I can say is that if you are looking for somewhere to live, you might want to look somewhere else that follows the law! My friend moved somewhere else that took her AND her daughter.
